LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Hi,

I’m Ebru…

If you’ve browsed through my site, you already know I’m passionate about helping couples and individuals build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves and with each other. As a licensed psychotherapist and relationship specialist, I understand both the hope and the struggle of sustaining intimacy in our modern world of constant demands, high expectations, and shifting family roles.

My role is not just to listen but to engage fully — to offer clarity, compassion, and yes, a healthy dose of straight talk. Together, we’ll work to identify the stuck places that keep you looping back into conflict or self-doubt, and we’ll use them as opportunities for growth — individually and as partners.

Over the years, I’ve developed the Integrated Growth Approach (IGA) — a framework that blends the wisdom of attachment theory and the power of differentiation practices. This approach helps clients move beyond old patterns, en, and create space for authentic, resilient connection.

A BIT ABOUT MY CREDENTIALS, I AM…

1.

A Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (Supervisor-candidate).

2.

An advanced practitioner in the Developmental Model for Couples Therapy.

3.

An experienced Couples Sex Therapist.

4.

A Certified Discernment Counselor.

5.

Trained in the techniques of Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS)

A PROFESSIONAL

YOU CAN TRUST.

When you’re putting your heart and your most important relationship in someone’s hands, you want to know they’re grounded in expertise. My postgraduate certifications in advanced couples therapy models (including EFT, the Developmental Model, and RLT) are just part of the picture. What matters most is how I’ve integrated these trainings into a clear, structured process that adapts to each couple’s unique challenges.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Real growth requires a therapist who can flex between deep empathy and compassionate challenge, who can hold both safety and accountability at once. That’s the heart of the Integrated Growth Approach — meeting you where you are while guiding you toward who you’re capable of becoming.

You will find that I am very engaged, compassionately persistent, collaborative, transparent about the process of therapy, and most importantly, sincerely interested in you and your relationship.

A SAFE SPACE

FOR INDIVIDUALS AND RELATIONSHIPS OF

ALL KINDS.

As an LGBTQ-affirming and sex-positive therapist from a culturally diverse background, I bring openness, curiosity, and a socioculturally attuned lens to every session. Whatever your relationship structure, orientation, or cultural context, you’ll find a safe place to explore, grow, and practice new ways of relating.

My style is highly experiential — less about “venting,” more about practicing new skills and perspectives in real time. I want you to leave sessions not only with insight but with tools you can immediately apply in your life and relationships.

I am licensed in Connecticut and New York, offering in-person and online therapy for discernment counseling, marriage counseling, and individual work. For those who travel frequently across the U.S. or internationally, I also provide continuity of care online.

FEATURED IN

  • "We had never done counseling before, and I remember my husband was very skeptical that the therapy would ever work. After just a few sessions with Ebru, he admitted to me that it was the best decision we had made for our relationship to see her. These sessions were eye-opening to both of us. We have learned so much not only about one another, but about ourselves that we never realized before."

    — Westchester, NY

  • "Ebru is made for this career, it seems to be natural for her, to understand the mechanisms, to see patterns and to find very effective ways to help untangling everything."

    — New York

  • "She facilitated us in a very painful, traumatic time in our marriage and helped us communicate to each other what we knew all along.”

    Greenwich, CT

  • "We had an excellent experience. Ebru was punctual and responsive, while also compassionate and understanding… During therapy sessions she was prepared and engaged. It was clear that there was more preparation and investment than I had experienced with other therapists. We found the therapy very helpful and would highly recommend working with her."

    — Brooklyn, NY

  • "Ebru was not judgmental. She gave us both an equal voice - and calmed us if we needed to pause. She is far above a therapist we saw several years ago. We learned to communicate better and use the tools daily that Ebru addressed with us."

    — Westport, CT

  • "Ebru is warm, curious, interested and inisghtful, providing thoughtful feedback while gently challenging my prespective. She was clear in establishing goals for our work together and was successful in brining awareness to the issues I had hoped to address"
